From the reading that I’ve done the Maxxfan Fans are voltage sensitive. They need to have a consistent 12v running to them otherwise you many damage the circuitry that controls them. Does the engine feel a lot of strain in 4WD and lock drive mode? Probably not. Peugeot Rifter 4×4 Concept’s engine doesn’t heat up unnecessarily when switched to these driving modes. The BlueHDi engines remain in optimal temperature which means that its components are sturdy and made to work hard.
